Welcome to my website. We will be exploring the world of economics and fitness. These subjects deal with personal choices and personal responsibilitiy. Remember, you are responsible for both your economic future and your health. Decisions we make today, individually and collectively as a society, have consequences in the future. The results can be either positive or negative. It is ultimately up to us as consumers, workers, and citizens, acting for our own personal interest that will shape the world in the future. I sincerely wish that future will be prospersous and healthy.
I graduated from Michigan State University (Go Green!) in 1991 with a major in History and a minor in Physical Education. I earned my Masters degree from Wayne State University (Go Tartars!). I have been teaching at Airport High School for 19 years. I passed the Michigan Profiency exam for teaching economics and have taken over 20 credit hours in the subject, most recently from the Foundation for Teaching Economics (FTE).
I have been the head coach for Boys Track since 1996, and the Cross Country Coach since 2007. I previously coached Freshmen and JV football. I compete in triathlons (swim, bike, run), running races, and handball, and have attended many clinics on endurance sports and event specific training.
